Camelot: The Shining City
Project Description
Camelot was a co-production between Sheffield Peoples Theatre and Slung Low. The show took place on the Crucible stage, in Tudor Square and in the Sheffield Peace Gardens. The audience wore headphones allowing them to hear the dialogue whatever the conditions and their placement, but also giving intimate moments with 'wide shot' imaged based story telling. The company consisted of 150 actors and crew both professional, but mainly amateur. I worked on the sound team managing radio mics and delivering the show to the audience with all the challenges the headphone system comes with.
